Thanksgiving was great, food was awesome! We had ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, a vegetable medley, cranberries, rolls, deviled eggs and sweet potatoes. Everyone was so stuffed they didn't hardly eat dessert, so one pie was taken home whole by the person who brought it. Another pie will be going to our thanksgiving/Christmas get together on Sunday, and the dessert truffle that was brought was mostly taken home by the maker as well.
Black Friday shopping but on Thursday....boy oh boy did i not realize what i was getting into! LOL I've been black Friday shopping at Toys R Us 2 other times but this year would have to be the worst wait in line outside and inside EVER! Toys R Us opened last night at 10pm, i planned to go wait in line at 9:30pm but ended up not getting there till 10pm, the line was 500 people deep or more at that point. I took my 10 year old sister with me (she wanted to come but pretty sure she'll never make that mistake again), we waited outside for one 1/2 hours before we finally got in the store. Luckily i had made sure she dressed warm, so she really didn't complain a whole lot of being cold. Once in the store it took me about 20 minutes or so to get what i wanted and find the end of the treacherous line that was literally wrapped around the whole store. I heard one lady say at one point she heard a woman was misdirected and ended up going around the store twice while waiting in line to purchase her items. My dad called while we were outside still about 11pm or so, and again at 12:50am at which i told him we were in line to purchase our things but it would not be any time soon that we'd be doing so. My phone was dieing and so it didn't die all the way i shut it off. Finally around 2:30am we were checking out, and here is my dad coming behind me at the checkout lane? Apparently he had tried calling several times and since he hadn't heard from me in an hour and 1/2 he was worried sick... WOW! So i didn't get to purchase the one toy i had purposely gone to get, because i apparently didn't read and it was a 5am-1pm item....GRRRRR. But i did save $60 and got two big bags full of things, and ended up only spending 60 or so of our money because i had a $75 gift card that Tyler had won at a company picnic for Nate's work in August. I finally got back to my dads around 3am, and thought about waking back up at 5am to try and get the toy online...but quickly decided my worth was more important! LOL Tyler was awake at 6am, but i got him to go back to sleep upstairs in a playpen. My husband called me at 8am, and was being grouchy and i'm sure i was but i was seriously very tired. I got to sleep till almost 9:30am, it was very nice! My little sister was still sleeping at 11:30 when i left for my dentist appointment! LOL Yay, Kelsee says i must be in the no cavity club since i didn't have any! LOL I would have posted pictures of Kelsee in her cute new dress and fashion boots but i think i forgot my camera at my dads! Hope everyone has a great weekend and sorry no update on Tyler yet, except that his Echo came back normal! Still more doctors to see but until they are scheduled i'm not saying what they are because the one i can't remember! LMAO GOODNIGHT i'm thoroughly exhausted!

Doctor's, Doctor's and more Doctor's
This is an older picture but here are Tyler's new slippers he got from daddy when he had the flu a week ago!
Friday Tyler went to the gastrointologist for a 4 week checkup, his scale weighed him as being 18.3lbs, which means he only gained 20kilograms. The doctor decided to wait till the heart test results come back and see if there is anything wrong with his heart causing him to be so tiny and not gain weight. If there is nothing wrong with his heart causing his pettiness, he wants to send him to an endocrinologist for testing with his glands and more on the elevated phosphorous levels that Tyler has. (Nate expressed yesterday that he isn't crazy about this idea, and so we may get a second opinion before he goes to that doctor) If nothing comes from the endocrinologist then the doctor would like to do a NG tube, which goes through his nose and is a tube that we would use to feed him an extra meal after he was asleep at night. I'm not crazy about this being put in my son's nose or body for that matter, i honestly don't think he needs it. So i expressed to Nate last night that if it comes down to that, i'd like to get a second opinion. I talked to a friends mom who's baby (who is now deceased for other reasons) had one of these NG tubes, and she inserted into his nose each time she had to give him a feeding because she felt like it was really uncomfortable for the baby. That was before they found out the genetic disease he had, that killed him at age 2, but wow the way she described it, i'm really leaning more towards not doing it. I know that if he has to have it, i guess i'll just get used to it but wow its so scary to think about my baby having a tube tucked behind his ear and going through his nose, for two months. My sweet Tyler is such a happy baby, and seems so healthy except that he's way smaller then a usual 17 month old. Tomorrow i hope to get his results back from the Echo he had done last Thursday, i will try to update when i get them. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue them if you could, i truly believe God will make this all right.

Another long day.....
Sorry if you get lost, i really try not to jump around a lot but this one might, i'm still learning to write these and make perfect sense to other people.
Yesterday i got a phone call from Tyler's pediatricians office at 4:50pm, it was one of the nurses and before she even told me why she was calling she sounded super nervous, which made me nervous. She said hi i'm calling from Dr. steigmeyer's office and um... long pause, i'm calling about Tyler Lutz...um...we got his halter monitor results back and um...another pause, the Cardiologist from Riley feels there is something to worry about. My heart felt like it fell out of my chest, of course i don't want to assume the worst but...that's my baby she's referring to. So she goes on to say that he needs to be seen by a Cardiologist, and she doesn't know the details any more then that. Luckily for us, there was a Riley Cardiologist going to be in the office today, so i made plans for Kelsee to get to school with my mom and made the appointment for 12:15pm. I was a wreck and totally crappy to my family the rest of the night, i felt bad for not being nice but i just got told something is possibly wrong with my babies heart. It wasn't really that i was mean, i was just snapping at everyone and had no patience what so ever. Today Tyler was up at 7am, i did some cleaning around the house and took Kelsee to my mom's around 10:45am. By the time I got in the area for the doctor's appointment i was a half hour early, didn't do it on purpose but Nate of course said at least your not late. (i have a habit of that :) LOL) We get there wait about 15 minutes or so and are finally called, the nurse checks him out, measures him and says he's 30inches i say out loud hmmm Tyler you shrunk a 1/4 of an inch. So she remeasured him and got the right measurement, then off to the scale he weighed 18lbs 1oz. Finally the Cardiologist comes in and looks him over, and then starts to tell us what they are worried about down at Riley. His heart rate is a lot slower for his age, then it should be. When he was sleeping his heart rate dropped all the way down to 40 and should be more like 75 and, the highest it was when he was awake was 115 and should be closer to 150-175. She proceeds to say that she'd like to get an ultrasound done on his heart and think about monitoring him for more then 24 hours, more like 2 weeks or so. She is waiting on the ultrasound to figure out how we would do the monitoring if needed because, the machine is pretty large and he wouldn't be able to carry it around with him, or play like normal. She then talks briefly about if they find nothing wrong with his heart and no reason to believe he's not gaining weight normal or that his heart rate would be so low, they might put a pacemaker on him. SAY WHAT? So now i'm stressing over this pacemaker idea, my little son is only almost 17 months old..... We've also been stressing about the G-tube that the gastrointoligist might possibly bring up again tomorrow at his appointment with Tyler. I really think if it comes down to it, i'll be getting a second opinion for both because, although i want the best for my son, those just sound really invasive for surgery and very scary with such a tiny little guy. After the appointment, the hospital which is around the corner was able to get us in for a heart ultrasound (echo), that wait took forever. We sat in a dark room, watching Dora while Tyler sat with me on a hospital bed munching on animal cookies, and then got a sucker which he didn't end up wanting. He did pretty good for staying still for the technician but i'd say the ultrasound took about half hour to forty five minutes. It was a rather long day, and i was so glad to leave the hospital and come home. Only to clean the house and cook dinner, but sure beats a hospital or doctor's office!
On a happier note, my house is spotless at the moment and i'm super excited to see it so clean at the same time, i'm thinking no one better mess it up in the few hours we'll be home tomorrow! LOL I'm having a few ladies over on Saturday, and hopefully taking my mind off things for a little while, while the kids go to grandpa's for the night. Sorry so long, thank you everyone that wanted to know before i posted for waiting patiently. Still trying to process everything, and i'd even thought about not writing this till tomorrow.

Really quick
Tyler's tests all came back, except one. They were all negative or normal. so far. The only one we're waiting on now is the halter monitor, hopefully we'll get that Monday! This was a slow week until Wednesday, Tyler started coming down with something, and puked a half hour after dinner. Thursday was fine, except a low grade fever from Tyler and really small appetite. Early Thursday morning Kelsee woke up at 1:00am and just said she needed a drink and i put her back to bed. She was up again at 1:20am and apparently i fell back asleep quick, then she was telling daddy she was hungry and thirsty, so he got her a few goldfish crackers and a quick drink and put her back to bed. Again at 1:45am she was up and telling up she puked in her bed....so we changed her sheets, and her jammies and put her back to bed. Not 10 minutes later she was in our room again complaining her chest hurt and daddy took her back to her room, where she puked again on her bed. So a new change of sheets, and new shirt, and she was in the bathroom puking again. She by then had woke Tyler because their bedrooms are right outside of the bathroom, and she was still complaining her chest hurt. Tyler had also puked in his bed so i changed his jammies and sheet, and by then daddy had decided we were going to take Kelsee to the Er. The longer we took to leave the more i could tell the last time Kelsee said her chest was hurting and didn't puke, she was faking and we decided that i'd just take both kids to the dr in the later morning. So after daddy had called into work, we decided that he'd better go since we weren't taking Kelsee to the ER, not 5 minutes after he left Kelsee tried to pull a fast one on me and tell me her chest hurt. Daddy left for work at 4am, Kelsee was back up and had puked a little in her bed by 5:30am, so i put a towel in her bed since it wasn't a lot and only on her sheet, she changed her shirt again...and went back to bed. She was back in my room around 6:30am saying that she had just got done puking in the toilet, atleast she finally was awake enough to make it on her own but....she had woken her brother in the process. Tried to get her to go back to bed but she was wanting to sleep with me, and i said no way your puking, so i made her a bed with blankets on my floor. By 7:30am Tyler had still not went back to sleep, only calmed down for a little while, and she was also still awake so we all got up and started our day. She puked another atleast three to four times before i finally got us in the car and on our way to the doctor. Seems like every time she took a drink of her water or 7up she puked, so in the car i would not let her have a drink, but as soon as we got to the doctor she got a small drink. She wouldn't even walk so i had to put her in the stroller and Tyler in my arms, not an easy task. She puked again in the doctors office, just as the doctor and the med student came in to look at the kids and tell me they had the flu. That poor med student was the one that caught her puke in a little pink bowl, he looked so uncomfortable doing it. lol She puked on the way home in the little pink bowl, and then once again shortly after we got home. Neither her nor Tyler have puked since, and today they both ate normal and drank normal, so they are back to normal. This morning i wasn't feeling so hot and pretty nauseous, so i layed around most of the morning, my husband made me take pepto bismal and an advil for my 99.1 temp. He went out for 3 hours and when he came back said he wasn't feeling so hot, he's since then took a hot shower and is wearing sweat pants and a sweatshirt because he's freezing but won't take his temp because i won't clean the thermometer tip for him....MEN! He's also puked since then, so i'm pretty sure he's now caught the darn flu also...ugh i just hope we are all much better by Monday and i can clean my house and sterilize for next Saturday!!!! Sorry it took so long for all of you who have been wandering how Tyler's been doing, besides having the flu he's been great. He's weighing 18lbs now, but i don't feel that the appetite enhancing medicine is helping, so i'm going to ask when we go to the dr with him next Friday how long they will leave him on it, if its not making him want to eat more? Well i better get to sleep, with losing an hour in our time, who knows what time the kids will wake up. And better get my husband to bed since he's fallen asleep on the couch. Good night everyone!
