Not much going on this week, just another week our house! Kelsee my 5 year old will have her first official paid dance class this week! We got her outfits today for class on Tuesdays, very pretty blue leotard with attached skirt and a pink skirt to go with her pink leotard! She's also recently joined girl scouts so a lot of money is being put forth for her these days! But that's ok we just want her to enjoy life while she's young and have every opportunity she can have!
Tyler is talking more and more each day and we're working on colors lately. Today while he was going potty at poppy's (grandpas) house he was pointing out the towel and hand towel next to the toilet! Then i would say Tyler got a blue shirt and he'd repeat Ty Ty blue shirt, i love how much they absorb at this age!
My husband and i celebrated our 6 year anniversary Saturday Sept 10, i can't believe I've been married that long! :) We took the kids to Poppy and Nana's house to stay the night and we went to dinner at Toko, which is a new Japanese Steakhouse in Fort Wayne. It was ok food but i definitely would say I'd rather go to Takioka if i'm going to to a Japanese Steakhouse! The chef wasn't as entertaining and you definitely didn't get as much food for what the prices are. The flavor was good, except the fried rice was bland without soy sauce. The lightening was better and it was a little more modernized then Takioka but overall we weren't impressed! After dinner we still had an hour until the movie we were going to watch, so my husband (Nate) decided to go to Gander Mountain and look around. Found out the Crossbow he wants to buy might be $100 less there then where he was originally looking. Then we still had time to kill, so he took me to Debrands on Auburn Road...its a cafe and they make the yummiest chocolate! We got some delicious chocolate and then went to the movie! We went to Car- Mike Cinemas on Dupont..huge Theater but the actual cinemas probably only seat about 40 people if that. We went and seen Captain America, that was a great movie! It was a long night but it was a lot of fun! We haven't been out without kids in a while and we hadn't been to a movie in the theater since our daughter was 4 months old.
Hope everyone has a great week!!!
My youngest just started dance class this week too. She has been ithcing to get into that studio for her own class for a couple uyears now since she has watched her older sisters go off to class all that time. She lOVED it so much and felt like such a big girl. Her sisters and I got such a kick out of watching her too.
